The desire to become an entrepreneur came to me early and naturally, as I was always searching for freedom. I chose to go to university at ISC Paris because I believed its associative system would be a good way to start my entrepreneurial career. There, I chaired a charity called Accède, which helps unemployed people return to working via entrepreneurship.
Before Genymobile, my leadership experiences dealt with problems that had clear solutions. But in 2011, Android was not an obvious solution for the mobile needs of businesses. Making it one was a real gamble for me personally and professionally, but entering a market with a clear issue and finding a new solution was a risk that I wanted to take. In order to overcome this challenge, I knew I needed a top notch team, strong company foundation and excellent culture. I’ve often noticed that the best creativity at Genymobile emerges from friendships between colleagues. Passion, atmosphere and employee involvement are the keys to our growth. When you enter any one of our offices in San Francisco, Paris or Lyon, you get the same message: make yourself at home!
