The last Spree bridge of old Berlin, Gotzkowskybrücke, connects the city districts Moabit and Charlottenburg. It was named after the 18th century Prussian merchant Johann Ernst Gotzkowsky, who bought and expanded the Royal Porcelain Factory in Berlin from Frederick the Great.

Teamplace – the Berlin Team Cloud Storage Startup

In January 2015, five founders started Teamplace with the mission of making file sharing and collaboration among teams easier than ever before. From their headquarters in Berlin’s Moabit district comes a new and practical approach to the classic file sharing concept. In addition to permanent 10GB of personal storage, the solution provides boundless storage for short-term team projects to unlimited numbers of members. The clear separation of personal from shared storage and the fact that the shared content is later completely deleted from the cloud, are among the solution’s many highlights. With the founding of the spin-off in June 2015, the team behind Teamplace focused on the core business and launched apps (web, iOS, Android) for live operation aimed at end users and SMEs. Already with a five-digit user count, Teamplace is shaking up the cloud storage market by breaking new ground. .

About Teamplace:

Berlin-based Startup Teamplace is the new cloud storage for teams. Founded in 2015, the company has a clear mission: making the sharing of files and team collaboration easier than ever before. At its Berlin headquarters, a team of experts developed the Teamplace solution that securely connects teams and groups instantly, allowing an unlimited exchange of files and ideas from different disciplines. Each Teamplace offers unlimited cloud storage for a full 30 days. While other services simply block access for a second user or overwrite previous versions when a file is being edited, Teamplace uses an intelligent storage algorithm. With Teamplace, the versioning conflicts in collaboration no longer occur and all versions of a file are fully accessible at all times. Simply upload the new version with the same file name and it is done.
