Elon Musk – Pushing for electric cars in Germany

2015 was not a great year for German auto giant VW after it was marred by a multi-billion dollar emissions scandal. It takes a great competitive entrepreneur to see opportunity in VW’s breakdown and Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk was prompt in taking action. Musk initiated heavy advertising for Tesla electric vehicles in Berlin and advocated a farewell to the internal combustion engine with a personal appearance in the capital. He took the chance to further push Tesla’s mission, calling for the German government to act now on more financial support for electric mobility.

About Elon Musk Elon Musk is a Canadian-American business magnate, engineer, inventor and investor. He is the Founder, CEO and CTO of SpaceX as well as the CEO, co-founder and product architect of Tesla Motors. Musk led the Series A round of Tesla Motor investment in February 2004, joining Tesla’s board of directors as its chairman.
