What inspired you to found your startup?
I was born an entrepreneur and inventor and I am fascinated using regenerative energy and moving with vehicles which are powered by sun and wind.
How do you define success for yourself and your company?
Success for me means getting into a sustainable balance of economy, nature and mind and to earn the money to improve.
Is there anything you’d do differently if you could do it again?
I would inshure that there is more money from the very beginning to get more Independent from financial restrictions.
What problem does your product solve?
It helps solving the need of storage of green energy and enables light electric mobility in cities without using public space for the carging-infrastructure
Where do you see your company in 1/5/10 years?
in 10 years I can drive through all Germany with a light electric vehicle without beeing afraid of shortage of energy, because at every discounter there will be a swapping station with GreenPacks to repower the LEV in only few minutes.
GreenPack will have international subsidiaries in most countries cooperating with local battery manufacturers and monitoring the quality and standard of GreenPack appliances.
How are you different?
GreenPack is the first and open multiuse, intelligent battery module.
How often does your product/service show up in a user’s day or week?
Every day in your house, because your green energy is stored in GreenPack-modules and whenever you move with private light electric vehicles it will be driven by GreenPack.
Impact: how are you doing good and building a better future?
the standardization of handy battery modules which can be clustered with different batterychemistry is the key for enabling e-mobility in cities. At the same time it guaranties an optimal and sustainable use of the valuable battery chemistry. GreenPack also creates a swarmstorage-system all over the country which provides a stable blockchain-controlled energy storage-system.
How has the startup scene in Berlin changed?
It got cool and there is more risk capital in the market.
What are the pros and cons of launching your startup from Berlin?
The risk-culture in Germany and Berlin is bot as good developed as in the US and to file patents and other IPRs it is more complicated.
