Liubou Pashkouskaya
Co-Founder and Business Development of Red Rock Apps, Belarus

Q: What do you hope for the future?

A: Technology will give us an ability to help more people live healthier.

The work doesn’t stop at the weekend

I started working at age 18, which is quite early for Belarus. I tried several companies and positions, always doing my best to bring some benefit to each. Then I was lucky enough to be hired at, where I worked my way up from Marketing Manager to Head of Mobile Games. While my friends had fun on Friday evenings, I often sat in front of my computer preparing documents or managing ad campaigns.

This experience made me strong and self-confident. Soon I realized that I don’t need anyone to tell me how to manage a business – I felt that I could do it on my own. I quit my job and founded my own mobile business with two friends. We were sure that our combined skills would cover all our bases. The first year was very hard, with plenty of unpredictable issues coming up. I learned a lot. Having two more partners helped, especially when one of us had some hard times. We could support each other and ensure none of us gave up. Having your own business gives you more freedom, but you need to learn how to enjoy more commitment and responsibility along with it! And above all, you need to be a good problem solver.
