The ‘Luisenstädtische’ Canal was partly filled-in in 1926, except for the central canal Angel’s basin (Engelbecken). Recently, the basin and the canal in the surrounding area have been reconstructed into a beautiful park, perfect for a Sunday stroll. Some nice cafés and restaurants round off the area.
