The company was founded by three friends: Max, Wilko and Felix, who had the idea of using proven technology to help people find their perfect roommates. CEO Max Kersting says he decided to create this website after spending the early years of his life living, studying and working all around the world. This web-based platform uses an algorithm to match potential roommates based on their answers to several basic questions. The user is able to list qualities that they are looking for in a roommate, as well as list their “deal breakers,” which are qualities they absolutely do not want in a roommate.
