What inspired you to found your startup?
At our former positions, we had gained a lot of experience on the practical side, and had a lot of ideas and energy. At the same time, in 2016, there was a lot of hype about robotics and artificial intelligence. We were able to fill the gap between simply talking about it and taking part in practical implementation.
How are you different? What is your unique value proposition?
We create software solutions for intelligent automation on a highly scalable and flexible basis. This enables us to offer tailored solutions by reusing the latest technology for our stack on specific markets, and to minimize the development cost.
How do you define success for yourself and your company?
Success is when we over-satisfy the expectations of our customers and partners, while developing novel ideas for new business opportunities.
What do you want to achieve next year?
Strengthening our technology stack and launching products.
Why do people want to work at your company?
Flat hierarchies, flexibility, opportunities for self-improvements, interesting topics, friendly customers, social company events, and last, but not least, we have robots.
What has been the most important milestone so far?
Building up a stable customer base.
Looking back at your whole development story — what makes you most proud?
Building up a fantastic interdisciplinary team.
Where do you see your company in 5 years?
The vision we have for our company is to become the leading European software supplier for advanced robotics and AI.
What is your impression of launching a startup from your based city?
We encountered fantastic early support for our startup from universities in Berlin. At the beginning, the Technische Universität supported us with offices to help us stand on our own feet and to bootstrap from scratch. Furthermore, a huge ecosystem evolved in Berlin.
What is your impression of the german startup scene? Would you change anything?
The german startup scene is emerging. We wish to have more deep tech and investors with an understanding for tech and the manufacturing domain in order to create sustainable values.
