What inspired you to found your startup?
The founding team worked together for over 10 years in their previous company. The company offered IT infrastructure hosting to enterprise customers. To do this as cost effectively as possible, the team needed a solution which could centrally manage and optimize different types of infrastructure.
How are you different? What is your unique value proposition?
Replex provides one central solution that combines all the critical insights needed to effectively operate modern environments. Replex was designed from the ground up to generate the right information, for the right person, at the right time by connecting to all currently used IT infrastructure types.
How do you define success for yourself and your company?
Success in terms of goals and KPIs are very clearly defined. These are pertinent to the extension of our customer base in the US. We are also excited to add more people to our growing team, and we look forward to the continued success of the company.
What do you want to achieve next year?
Replex aims to continue its successful path by continuing to scale our teams, further accelerating growth rates. We will also continue to build on our strong solution base by further developing exciting new features.
Why do people want to work at your company?
Everyone at Replex, from sales to marketing to development, shares the excitement of working with the newest and coolest technologies. Solving some of the most costly and pressing issues in the modernization process of enterprises today unites the teams with that shared vision.
What has been the most important milestone so far?
Our most important milestone has been the US market-based growth. We are excited to see that our solution has seen validation through multiple customers, and that these customers have further driven our solution through close feedback.
Looking back at your whole development story — what makes you most proud?
We are most proud of what our teams have managed to accomplish in such a short amount of time. Seeing the personal commitment and willingness to learn of every single person in the company has been a great source of pride for us as a whole.
Where do you see your company in 5 years?
It is our intention to build a global category leader with Replex.
What is your impression of launching a startup from your based city?
Having launched in Germany, our experience has been overwhelmingly positive during the early stages of the startup. Both customer and investor traction was very positive. We received support from many different ecosystem stakeholders, and are grateful for the support network in our home cities.
What is your impression of the german startup scene? Would you change anything?
Having both a base in Europe and in Silicon Valley has shown that the German ecosystem, while very positive for us, generally still has some way to go in terms of supporting aggressively growing startups with funding, talent and risk-tolerance.
