Q: What motivates you?

A: Fearless creativity and innovation that’s aimed to benefit others to solve a REAL human need.

Focus on big, meaningful innovations that make a difference in others

I think I’ve always been an entrepreneur, as my inspiration came from my hard-working parents. My father is a brilliant innovator and my mother a focused steam train – a killer combination. Their accomplishments got me creating from the age of 13. I sung, taught dance and fitness and was a part-time moviemaker. I used my mini jobs to fund my university education and a ’round-the-world trip at age 18.

From 2007 to 2013, I worked for several different companies in the US, UK and Australia. I became one of the Women and Leadership Australia graduates in 2012, and from this time on, I became hungry to really create something big and meaningful. I believe an idea or business should come from a real customer need in combination with the personal ability to find a solution. My venture, 7write, was accepted into Startup Bootcamp Amsterdam in 2013 and we raised €250,000 from investors (including an original Paypal investor). I recommend trusting your intuition, learning from others and never doubting yourself. You can do anything with the right intentions!
