I was in my final year of college when I met my boyfriend, who had a web agency and was aiming to build a scalable business. I had international experience from my college years and thought, why not go for the global market? I decided to help him instead of taking an internship that had recently been offered to me.
In the beginning, we were just four co-founders and did everything ourselves. I felt a growing responsibility when customers started to pay us and we started hiring. I thought to myself, “Are we really able to handle this?” My biggest challenge was to find stability as an entrepreneur – to take care of myself first, and leave time for family and friends too. When you fly on the airplane, they tell you to put your own mask on first, and I think this concept also fits with entrepreneurship. You can only help others, or your business, if you take care of yourself!
We’ve all grown up since we started. All the founders got married, and we even started a family. But our mission and motivation still remains, and I am excited about what the future brings us.
